Turn and swing angles
Also known as turn angle, swing angle, elevation angle. Category: Photography techniques
In PhotoRobot Controls, the turn angle is the rotational angle of the product on the turntable and the swing angle is the vertical position of the camera on its circular trajectory, in other words the elevation from which it looks at the product. Together they define each frame of a spin or still.
How PhotoRobot uses it
A spin folder is defined by the number of frames per rotation and by rows at different swing angles; still frames are defined by a turn and a swing angle. Editing operations can be scoped to a specific swing angle, and quick-angle presets store up to four favourite positions for Turn and Swing robots.
